i feel like i should mention the five billion more memorable meals i had before my roommate left nyc FOREVER (sniff).

lunch at ssam bar (steamed pork buns, which were tiny, and bip bim bap, which was huge, both being delicious, and cheaper than momofuku ko.)

drinks at campbell apartment, which was basically everything we imagined it would be (both good and bad). midday before commuters come in would be ideal.

dinner at balthazar, as gawker has ingrained into me it is an essential new york institution, and had duck shepard's pie, profiteroles and vouvray.

final hamburger in ny for roommate at royale (still the best) followed by zum schneider then tiki drinks (and disaster!) at otto's shruken head

lunch at pearl oyster bar, where we only looked at the 27 dollar oyster roll and other controversies (but the chowder was good)
